Description of Internship:
This is a summer internship program for our Central Arizona Engineering department. We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated engineering students that have good communication skills, critical thinking skills, are well organized, detail-oriented and can work independently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office.This position may involve special projects that require extensive research, analysis, interpretation and recommendations to management.
The summer internship program is designed to provide a foundation of technical knowledge and professional experience while giving students the opportunity to learn the business of distributing natural gas. The engineering program will focus on the design of natural gas pipeline facilities such as natural gas distribution systems, metering facilities, natural gas regulating stations, and Cathodic Protection deep well ground beds. The intern is expected to fulfill a 10 week commitment. This position is 5 days a week for a total of 40 hours a week.
